Andrew Squires – ‘Fr. James Pallister’

British born, Andy studied under Bernard Hiller (acting coach to Cameron Diaz, amongst many others) in L.A. before landing the lead in Heretic. Although this is his first leading role in a feature, he has starred in numerous award-winning shorts and is also a screenwriter. Andy's current writing project, Buddy Movie, is now in development.

James Zakeri – ‘Fr Will O’Neill’

Inspired by iconic performances from Robert De Niro and Al Pacino James became fascinated by the art of storytelling through the medium of film at a young age. He undertook years of performance tuition, an Acting Degree from Newcastle performance Academy, and is currently training with prestigious acting tutor David Johnson. James is excited to be making his feature film debut with Heretic.

Jennifer Nelson – ‘Claire Russell’

Jen has been working as a professional actor for almost two years, with Heretic being her first feature film. Jen has worked on many short films, recently featured in a Kung-Fu movie, and has also launched her modelling career.

Michael J Tait – ‘Tom Carlisle’

Michael is an actor and screenwriter from Manchester and is currently working on his own sci-fi feature. He began acting in a crime series and in 2011 he appeared in television dramas for ITV and the BBC. As a horror fan, he is delighted that Heretic is his feature film debut.

Jodie Mcenery – ‘Melissa Sibley’

Jodie trained at Stage 84 in Bradford and landed her first TV role at the age of 16 on ITV’s The Royal. Since then Jodie has had parts in TV, Theatre and Short Films, some of which include, Kimberly in BBC Five Days alongside Suranne Jones, Anne Reid and Katie Griffiths, MAM directed by Hugo Speer and Ispy playing the lead role of Clara. As well as acting, Jodie is a qualified dancer and teaches on a regular basis.

Holly Fletcher – ‘Suzie Thomas’

Holly is studying at The Arden School of Theatre working towards a degree in musical theatre and is regularly involved in other acting projects such as RATS - a multi-lingual culture-eco project in Sweden, the romantic teen tragedy Sarah’s Boyfriend, experimental drama Mechanical Pink and comedy spoof horror, Last drop. Heretic will be her first feature film.

Will Fox – ‘Inspector Myers’

Discovering a love of acting in his mid-twenties, Will joined local amateur dramatic society, Leeds Arts Centre, 3 years ago and has starred in many different plays for the LAC such as A Memory of Water, the Crucible and Comedy of Errors. In 2011, William worked with the New End Theatre starring in their critically acclaimed play Where’s your mama gone and also reprised his role as Renton in Trainspotting at the Edinburgh festival.
